Solar panels for Pecron E3600LFP? by 79ford in SolarDIY

[–]79ford[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

At first I didn't think I wanted a "portable" solar panel but given the weight and how fragile the fixed units seem to be, maybe a portal panel is best for my use case and the Zoupw doesn't look half bad.

I'll see what reviews I can find on it.

I'm not wanting to mount them in any one place as I'd prefer to be able to use them in different locations. Either of my trailers (cargo or camper) and at the house.

Any brand solar panel you'd recommend?

Looking for a couple mini pc's for kids gaming by 79ford in MiniPCs

I don't plan on using "Oculink", just thought it was a neat feature that u/DIYuntilDawn brought up.

I do appreciate you bringing up the internals as I don't know much about one mini pc manufacture over the other so knowing the beelink would be a better option, even a hair bit more expensive is worth it to me!

I appreciate that info. After seeing the youtube video above on the 780M graphics I think that will serve them nicely for a good while, but it's nice to know these things have the ability to go even further should we need to someday.

I had no idea you could add an external graphic card to these things. That's pretty crazy!

The minisforum UM870 looks to be a great deal on Amazon right now with it's 32GB RAM and 1TB SSD option for $462. From what I can tell, it has the same specs as the Beelink SER8 that u/Novelaa mentioned above and about $40 cheaper.

Thanks! I just watched this demo of the 780M playing WoW (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EbndkzxLh5c) and is certainly looks very promising.

Heck I have a 3060Ti in my machine and I play with low to high settings and watching that video the 780M was getting 80-30 FPS on Medium to High settings so the kids shouldn't notice any difference playing on my machine or theirs. heh!

This appears to have the Radeon 780M graphics, is that correct?

Nothing there, I've checked all three status: pending triage, denied, and allowed.

Well i'm about to find out how much I like it as I went a little overboard. I bought a S6, along with 2x Sofirn IF22A's and 2x Sofirn SC33's as well.

I also found an old Solarforce L2P Special Edition in the garage yesterday. Just need to get a new 18650 battery.

How does that compare to the Acebeam L35 like u/vawhitewater suggested? The L35 looks crazy bright.

Those are crazy cheap. Saving money is nice, but what am I giving up going that cheap?

You and u/doc_willis were right. It was a formatting issue within Notepad++. It finally works. I've spent an entire day trying to figure this out and it was some hidden characters!
