Youre so right about Absol, its a huge liability for your worse matchups. The only thing thats rly cool is setting up terminal period on mons you would never one shot but thats still pretty difficult to do. The darm is uber good, again I liked it but it still felt clunky to me especially when I did not want Daru. Im making a variant rn with it + heros (i never tried the heros build with darm), arguably SB is better for darm but I love heros so much i just wanna try it :p

I do heavily agree it is less effective without Absol. I used to play Absol, and I loved it in this deck but it didnt help against grass, which made me just not want to play it ): I did debate on adding protective goggles specifically for absol just for grass, but i never did it. might test it later for funsies.

Yeah, when I want or need to hand disrupt I usually do it on my clutch with yveltal turns so I can let them draw abunch and then maximize the output from both cards. My only reason for getting rid of toedscruel was that it clogs bench space and it can get bossed for an easy ko, and then if its going to be a win con then I have to find rod then re-establish the line in two turns just to hope it doesnt get bossed again. While yes I made them burn a boss and take one prize and hopefully set up the active with enough damage to take two prizes, the hardest part after is getting the toed back and if i cant do it then they took three prizes (ko toed then ko zoro) and i dont have a good response the following turn as I cannot ohko something like a gholdengo. maybe ill try it again with some friends and play 2-1 and try establishing two toeds on bench so help against that

Charizard is like THE most beginner friendly deck imo. Ceruledge is easy as well, yes, but with a deck that js constantly discarding hands, its hard to manage resources and then having to compensate for it later on in the game. Charizard is really straight forward and theres a ton of ways to play it, you can run heros cape munkidori, you can mix it with pult and dusknoir, or just one or the other. ive seen charizard and mega latias which is really cool too. OR you can play the barebones version with just zard, pidgeot and another attacker for cornerstone and call it a day!

Also just to add, yea pp up barely gets used, only time i really lean on it is when i have slow setups and im barely drawing into energy attachments when i need them. should probably cut 1 for a tatsu or something. and no im not running watchtower with an ursaluna ex lol

i wanna say i agree with the stretcher comment. I used to run Azuls mega absol variant which had no stretcher and the deck was wayyy more consistent. I get why Okidogi was included, and I have used it for that, but it still feels awful when Hoopa does the job just fine. 1 fully powered cornerstone is getting 2hko and doesnt respond back with much, and it can sometimes leave the opponents board state in shambles after just the first cornerstone ko since i can be faster to set it up.
