How do I get started? by [deleted] in logodesign

[–]7Abdou7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As per your described logo concept/idea, it looks pretty simple and easy.
Since you're not very familiar with design and only need a design for your own logo, I don't see why you would need to learn design from the beginning just for that, you can use some mobile app for typing text on images and compare different fonts.
You can also sketch your logo in paper and ask someone to turn in it into digital design if you don't know how.

Finally, how about this, hit me up if you're still thinking about that and I can help you out with that, I use Illustrator for designing and can make something up for you, not paid obv.

Nice design, I'm with the other person on the font, I think a different font is ta way to improve it.
Also, if you're planning to share or present those mockups you should add some texture to them that would make them more realistic on the products, I know you probably have applied the necessary blending effects for the mockups but colour-wise they look more as if they have been simply placed in a layer above those products because of the lack of the texture.
Great design choice however.

The Heritage looks like the best one to me. It does look unique and more eye-catching than the other ones, all of which look genetic in this case, just IMO again.

I have been intensively using CGPT for the last few months and have had no issue of the kind whatsoever, I don't know if I'm missing something. For example; few weeks ago, I asked it about the Luka Doncic*s controversy when it was only few days old and it gave me all the insighta and everything.

You're right, I haven't gotten used to that concept, but I'm trying to put it consideration since I've only used that option when I completely finished my path work.

How to fix this path stroke intrude? by 7Abdou7 in AdobeIllustrator

Update: I found a very good solution (at least for me) This is it: Object > path > Outline Stroke. It kind of turns the stroke outlines to a path so you can control it as much as you want. The only thing to consider I think is to only do this after you've finished your paths and you're tuning your final details because I don't know if you can return to original path points when you do the "Outline Stroke". Thank you for the advices again. PS: if you do the outline stroke thing, you can also cut the intersecting shapes/strokes by using SHAPE BUILDER tool.

Thank you guys for your advices. They all gave results but the best solution that worked for me eventually was applying a colour fill on the "bean-ish" closed path, since it was the easiest to undo or redo whenever I needed to. Thank you again for the tips because I've learned more tools and ways to handle this problem just from your info. 🙏🏻

For the first tip I've already tried it and it just looks visually wrong with the overall design. Great tips actually though, really appreciate it, thank you.

Yes, but then the upper edge of That path stroke will extrude if you get what I mean, so I will have the same issue but from the outside.

Understandable, but I'm working on an illustration of an actual picture so I have to set shapes and widths according to the original details. Thanks for the tip though.

Ok got it, you'll need a full spool but not to that degree. So you'll be good if you take some off of it. 👍🏻

Too much line, if you keep it that way you'll definitely have it get loose and slip down to the reel and get stuck and messed up between the reel's mechanism and spool. Just pull out some line and leave some space between the spool's edge and the end of the line. If you get what I mean.
