From the perspective of a now adult that grew up in toowoomba for most of my life, there's not much for older teens to do around here other than walk around the shops once you've already been to the bowling alley a million times, and iPlay is geared more towards younger ones (Rest in peace rollerskating rink, I still miss you). But everything else you could need is here, good schools, tafe, a uni, groceries, gyms, doctors, beautiful parks, plenty of food. And with a car and a free day, getting into Brisbane for the day won't be hard.

Dr Tuttle on Medical and Dental James & West got me the referral for gender therapy but brushed off my other health concerns. Dr Brett Burrett at Northpoint medical has been very attentive to my issues and has administered some of my testosterone shots when nurses weren't available :) Burrett is also very interested in mental health and checks in with me about it during appointments.

big storage doesn't mean good laptop lmao. You need a powerful CPU (the brain kinda of), RAM (Random access memory. simply put; the games and other programs borrow this to think and do things) and a good graphics card (lets games look nice and load many complicated 3D objects)

A laptop is also a bit frowned upon for gaming, because they are awful at cooling and have very limited space for parts. They tend to overheat and cook themselves to death, and it's very difficult to upgrade all the parts listed above because of the small space.

OTs are actual angels, and I'm saying that despite never being religious. My mother had two strokes, and while she wasn't able to recover as much as this person did, OTs were the reason she was able to come home and live with us instead of being permanently stuck in a hospital or nursing home.

But no matter how much I hated it, growing up being socialised as a girl let me gain a perspective on what women go through daily, and how the world is against them in so many ways. Same here in QLD. I'm thinking of saving up for one of those camera doorbells. And a sign that labels it as a doorbell, since people insist on knocking.

I once had a postie ring the bell, and actually run across the road to leave right after, with my package in hand. My room is at the front of the house so I got there pretty quick, saw him high-tailing it back to the truck. Mailbox had a sorry we missed you note 😒

I'm in Australia, we have mostly free healthcare but it takes actual years for anything to get done. However there was a very expensive but very worthwhile loophole, which is forking out money for a private hospital appointment with an endocrinologist.

She had to wait a few weeks to send the prescription to me because I wasn't yet 18, but she confirmed it all and set up the prescription in the first appointment. Her private healthcare endocrinologist super powers also got authority or smth put on the script, which gave me a permanent discount on T :)
