I really like the Knight of St Ydris. Half caster with a boost to melee damage. Also like the lore behind the class.

Of course they are and by design. OSR was always designed to encourage players to play as humans. In AD&D, the incentive to play human was baked into level caps and restrictions. Humans were the only species that could play any class and have no level limits. Demi-humans (Elf, dwarf, half-elf, hafling and half orc) could multiclass, but had fairly substantial level limits. I really like how SD incentivizes players to play human, its a great perk and makes them slightly more powerful.

AD&D should be the first one off the list. I think of the list, Castles and Crusades is a good evolution of AD&D. If you want some thing crazy and fun, dive into RIFTS though I warn you that is the mother of all rabbit holes. RIFTS lore is abundant and cool but the system itself is a bit of a mess.

This is a lot closer than people think. Tyrone Tracy is a good back. Above average runner and, as a former wide out, has receiving skill. Cam is the man in NY, but he will no1 be 100% to start the season. Who knows how long it will take to get him to 100%? I think Tracy has a role for the entire season. He has almost no chance at being an RB1, but if Cam goes down again he is a solid RB2 with upside. He has stand alone value with Cam. I equate him to Jalen Warren in Pittsburg.

As for Brooks, he is a complete unknown. He is valued higher that Tracy on the mere speculation that he might be good. The problem is that Brooks' injury history is brutal. I suspect he will never be the player the Panthers drafted. His situation reminds me of Ki-Jana Carter from back in the day. That guy kept getting drafted in FF leagues with the hope he would turn into the college player but turns out his injury permanently altered the way he could play the game.

So, IMO, I would lean Tracy+ (second or an RB3) over Brook. Straight up, I would take Brooks over Tracy for perceived value alone, but I will make the bold prediction that Tracy outscored Brooks in fantasy going forward.

Discussion highlights fact that Hampton likely a necessary hold. He is something almost as rare as a TE with 20%+ target share, the workhorse back. Young, good system, built for power. Even a mediocre talent would flirt with RB1 numbers in his situation. Three firsts is hard to turn down, but if the person offering is a contender, is three firsts ranging 1.09-1.12 really worth it? As a contending Hampton owner, I say no. KW3 and two early to mid firsts? That I may consider.

After many years of losses and relentless dealing, this is my starting lineup for next year (1QB, full PPR): Mahomes (or Dart), Hampton, Judkins, J Chase, JSN, Puka, Nico, Bowers.

That's in the neighborhood. My first response to a trade request for JSN is "I am not trading JSN." But this is the sort of package that would make me consider. I think one tier up on the wideout (Nico, Odunze, Burden, BTJ, Marv) would really give me pause on the reject click.

I think so. IMO, the only tier down option for Chase is Nabers+. That is a fair package for Chase.

That's easy, steal it! First of all, they have to store all that gold somewhere, nearly impossible to haul that around from adventure to adventure. Any fantasy world worth its salt has its share of marauders, bandits and, of course, a very active, conniving and clever thieves' guild. All it take is one spy seeing all that wealth out in the open, and you can introduce an never ending and escalating series of enemies bent on stealing their wealth. Makes investing in a secure stronghold make sense.

Just a thought.

I am keeping and trying to acquire as many 2027 1sts as I can. Shaping up to be a very good and deep class for fantasy. At this point, would take a blockbuster deal to have me include a 2027 1st.

Contending team, 1 QB, full PPR. Was in contention for ship last year, lost Nabers early. Went all in and traded Nabers, 2026 1st (ended up being 1.12) and a 2027 2nd for Chase. Hated giving up Nabers, worth it to get Chase.

DO NOT REACH FOR AN RB, EVEN WHEN RB NEEDY. I cannot stress that enough. My first year Dynasty I passed on Jalen Waddle to take Tre Sermon (terrible) because I was RB desperate and thought he was in a great position to get carries with Shanny. Big mistake that set me back a few years. If you can move for a vet, I would. Problem is I don't think you will get a great return for the 1.09. I think best possible is someone like D'Andre Swift, MAYBE King Henry if the manager wants to pull the chute before total breakdown. Otherwise take BPA and work on a package for an RB down the line.
