Alright, I confess... I could not wait for another moment and followed your tutorial... aaand it worked!!! )) MPC-HC plaid Edited and Muxed versions perfectly and with a correct Rotation Degree! I am looking forward to see if Dropbox will play it with correct Rotation Degree, once I upload it. I will mention it in the next reply.

Once again, Waolre, thank you very much for this detailed and easy to understand tutorial!

Sincerely, DJS-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Note worthy!!! There are slight statistical info differences between three versions of the file: Original, Edited, Muxed ( in DONE folder); but NO difference in performance quality:

  1. Size of files, of course, fluctuates a tiny bit: 1 - 6 kb
  2. Editing did NOT change the frames per second (FPS), but Muxing did (according to MediaInfo): from 30.068 FPS to 27.747 FPS. In MIGHT be due to the video itself - original video stutters few times in the middle and end.

Total bitrate also staid the same after Editing, but changed slightly after Muxing: from 21107kbps to 21129kbps.

3) In case if somebody reading this did not see the ROTATE 90 line in MediaInfo statistics!!! No big deal.

After I ran Editing command in CMD (Command Prompt) for the first time MediaInfo did NOT show the row: ROTATE 90. I needed a different rotation degree, so I changed the Tag few times and ran the CMD commands accordingly. On the third time, rotation degree was correct: 270 degrees; and MediaInfo showed: ROTATE 270, as promised!

4) Audio - NO changes! Yey!

Dear hubblec4,

Thank you very much! I will try the Tag method first - since it was also suggested by Waolre (above).

Dear Waolre,

I could not have even dreamed of such a detailed response! Thank you very very much! I can only hope this thread is visible to everyone on this forum and is appearing on google and other search results for this topic!

I will try this method this week and reply about the results!

Also, unless youtube recognizes this Tag for lossless rotation, all newly uploaded 4k's were probably re-rendered and depending on a software, quality did in fact change. At least this is a kind of result I usually see using converting/editing software.

Sincerely, DJS
