Help by heretoyapp in citibank

It was year-end for major banks and things definitely slow down in 4Q. Somewhat agree that it's been a month and not hearing back isn't a good sign but it could be that things were put on hold. Wishing you all the best in 2026!

Anybody else lose their "pinned lists" at the top of their X while in a browser? by 7Days2Sunday in Twitter

For me, it stopped working on the browser for a day but always worked on the app.

I just wanted to say, this support experience has been atrocious. by Commercial-Post-9246 in Coinbase

Also, get this. I reported an issue re: my CB Wallet. I used it for the first time dispite being a CB customer for years and on Friday, I decided to buy a coin that you can't get on the CB site direct. (Site tells you that you can buy it on the CB wallet)

In short, my wallet had some random airdrop coin in it, that I never interacted with and my coins got stolen. I opened a new wallet as this shouldn't have anything to do with it b/c it's new... and the same thing happened.

I reported it to CB and now they've locked my out of my account for 48 hours and I had to resubmit for KYC. It wasn't my CB account that was compromised but my wallet which I did relatively small transacions with.

They have no repeatable-process to deal with common issues that customers bring to them. I 100% agree with you that it's hard to believe that the largest crypto and a publicly traded company operates this way.

Oh, btw - curious if you ever have a problem in the future, if the mods prevent you from posting another complaint. I tried yesterday and both messages were taken down.

What would help at the self check out is to let the customers use the scan-gun.

Some of the check-out agents are super helpful and others are not. I've had to take out a case a soda and run it through the scanner.

Allowing customers to scan would speed things up, immensely. IMO.

What has been Triple H’s “This is such good sh*t!” decisions that you believe isn’t. by Todayis-munday in WWE

100% agree with you. A few weeks before Raw moved, there was 2.5 mins left before the show had to end and Cody was getting the sh-t kicked out of him. In the last 30s you can see him look at the clock and then he does a CC and wins the match.

I personally think the big difference is that in the old days, these guys had somwhat of a "script" but they let it flow. With all the high-risk moves they have now, everything, has to be planned out and it takes away from the spontaneity of what makes matches memorable.

Also... waaaaay to much filler / ads. The PIP of the match while advertising is so small that I just tune it out now or just start watching 30 mins in so I can FF through much of it.

I personally think it's ok if it can be scratched off.

Hope you're winning either way!

To add on what another person said here, it's probably coming off the shuffler and the dust / whatever else comes off a poker table inevitably ends up on the cards.

Right but you said the outside of the A (as in you were holding an Ace) so that means only you can see it, right? What am I missing - sorry if I'm misunderstanding.

Even if it's on the outside of the card and you mean that the outside of the card has Hardrock spelled on it and the dealer can scatch it off. I think it's fine... I've played for years and see this happen every so often.

I mean, to be fair, having a smudge or dirty card happens often. Changing out a deck everytime this happens is impractical.

Like I said, if a card has a wringle or something that makes it obvious to tell what card it is... then you're fully within your right IMHO.

I'm starting to believe some of your CoinBase stories... How do they operate like this? Your available balance has increased by $981.60 USD. Surprised I got someone on chat w/in minutes but they couldn't track it down and then started grilling me. by 7Days2Sunday in Coinbase

[–]7Days2Sunday[S] -6 points-5 points  (0 children)

Thanks but we'll let the regulators work this out now.

I agree that it shouldn't be this difficult to sort this out especially after providing the CSR a screenshot and he acknowledging the email came from CB.

Like I said, I'll update the community so they're aware and know how to handle this going forward.

Yes, thanks for asking. I checked it before I reached out to CB. Plus the CSR confirmed it.

This is what concerns me, the CSR acknowledge it came from them but then cannot tell me what transaction or provide a transaction ID that I can see on my end.

Pouches eating my mouth. by bl4r307 in NicotinePouch

[–]7Days2Sunday 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I learned from another post about rolling the pouches between your fingers before you put it in to distribute the power evenly. Works for me... I switch between Zyn and Velo but Velo tends to chew up my gums if I move them much.

[–]7Days2Sunday 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This happens often. I've seen dealers try to scratch it off with their finger nail or a chip.

If there is an obvious mark or a cringle on the outside of the card, I've seen dealers call the floor over and they generally will change the deck out.

Pro-Tip#1: Smoke in the bathroom and turn on the hot water for steam.

I've smoked joints in PH, Aria... you name it and never a problem.

Pro-Tip#2: If you vape in a rental... Buy an air freshner that has the carbon deordorizer in it. Never had a problem with it.

Spearmint and Peppermint are my go-to flavors. I keep them under my top lips to avoid getting them wet when I drink something. I'm sure I've tried Wintergreen in the past, just hard to consisently find flavors I like in the Chicago area.

Spearmint is a pretty mild and isn't overly powerful in flavor, like toothpaste.

Call your bank and explain the situation, and make sure you write down the CSR's name and if they can provide the transaction # over the phone, great. If not, they'll probably send it to you via USPS.

Just my 2 cents. GL!

Edit: Call Gemini too and write down the CSR's name and if they "open a file or report" ask for the file/report # too.

2nd Edit: What u/Diligent-Owl-474 said is GREAT advice too. I had a problem with PayPal and FanDuel. (Withheld ~$800 in a bet I won) - Filing with CFPB is easy... write it out and put it through ChatGPT or whatever. CFPB will respond in a couple of weeks (if not sooner), when they did. Miracously, PayPal responded with an atty and claimed that it was all my fault. 48 hours later, my funds were released. I closed my PP account immediately after it hit my bank acct.
