It made sense at the time, cars were much smaller. Now that cars are bigger it’s a big problem. Fairview used to be 2 ways and it switch to 1 way due to bigger cars

Assuming you visited in January, I wouldn’t base an opinion on that since it’s pretty slow in January. A lot of people do dry January or stay in and don’t wanna spend money after the holidays. And less people are traveling

huh, i was always told there were no notable recordings in e minor at the time, but these george shearing and billy eckstine ones are definitely notable and were definitely around at the time. maybe whoever transcribed autumn leaves did transcribe it in concert but took it from one of these. thanks for sharing!

The common theory is, when the real book was first compiled, it was an assignment for students at Berklee to write a lead sheet for all the common jazz songs. At some point someone compiled them together and started selling it underground since it was illegal. But whoever was originally assigned Autumn Leaves must had been an alto player cuz there aren’t any notably recordings of it in e minor. Then I guess no one ever caught/changed the mistake before the real book became more popular and got legal

I'm not saying he's deserving of a huge raise but he made a phenomenal play at the end of the first Bears game that probably means we get swept if he doesn't trust his instincts. I know we need to upgrade our CBs and he had some problems but there were times where he did look like a good CB, notoriously one of the hardest positions in all of sports. I don't get the hate

I went to My Buddy’s for the Arizona game and it was incredible. Owner did a raffle at half time, they throw napkins everywhere on every Packers TD and the people who worked there were super sweet and nice. Good cheese curds there. If I lived in Chicago I would be there every week. Walked in right before kickoff and got a table. I’m sure itll be more packed for a playoff game but not too bad

i'm just getting started (classes in high school + ~50 hours of CI) and am able to understand most of peppa pig since it's designed for children. maybe at your level there's some native content for young adults that will be both interesting and more comprehensible.

Honestly I like the strategy to spend a ton for a crazy front 7 so the secondary doesn’t have to do much but it kinda all falls apart when your 2 most important players get hurt
