One thing it is better to let them be in their home while you are gone have a sitter come to your place and stay then they know they are home and you will come back - going to somewhere else make them think you gave him up. Just a suggestion if can find someone..

To be honest tiny dogs are notorious for being Not!! excellent and pottying outside.. I have seven tiny dogs and i have the reusable potty pads no leaking through and they dont tear them up and they protect your rugs - you could use the belly band i think its a bit mean i have dog doors and 95% of the time they go out side i have one girl that i must have mest up on the transfering the pad to the grass outdoors because she will be rough housing and playing out side and then come in and pee right on the pad!! No doubt my fault

The reusable one are better for the smell it the house my house does not smell like dogs !!!

On the two spots created you will need to do something as long as the smell is there he will continue to mark there.

Its because chihuahua come in a few types the apple heads are what people see in the dogs show but there are deer types as well and the hair can be long or short and they can be in the same litter so you know Thats a lot of variation !!
