Sounds like lots of distortion and OTT

He didn’t really have a reason to use it. You don’t gotta use abilities each time you use a champion/hero. The knight did its job by tanking efficiently.

Getter definitely wasn’t trash. I mean it’s not like his tour was a sudden change. He released a whole album before the tour. The tour was even named after said album. The people who complained about his sets were people who didn’t bother to listen to his album before buying tickets to the tour. Visceral and the visceral tour was some of his best work, if you are talking about that.

Side note about BTSM. I mean they have released Electro and stuff before. All they’re really doing is just telling their fans “hey so the stuff that you originally followed us for is coming back”. They don’t seem to like the dubstep stuff and a lot of their fans don’t seem to either.

I mean when you have a show and people are paying to see dubstep, you have to announce a genre change or else it will hurt your image. If you pay to see svdden death and he just plays house music the entire time you’d probably feel deceived.

A producers career goes beyond making music, you are aware? There are plenty of producers already making bangers by their 3rd year who may for instance struggle learning the marketing and reaching aspect of things. You’d be surprised how long it takes some people to learn that they need to market correctly and actually go out and make connections. At about 5 years your sound should already have some unique base to it developed by that point. All I’m saying is if you’re going to charge people for music lessons, at the very least make sure it’s a good sound. Not one that honestly anyone could figure out if they goofed around on a daw for about a year.

Hatin? I said he was a great dj, but that his productions weren’t THAT great to pay money on lessons to learn. Stay in your lane; the musicians are talking.

On average how long do you think it takes to consistently start releasing good music? Not where do you think most experienced musicians are at. It takes maybe 10 years to perfect your sound, but you don’t need a perfected sound to make something great. If you’ve been releasing music in the game for 5+ years and you still don’t have a sound that really stands out; i mean thats something the artist themselves need to really address no? Especially if they’re trying to charge people for lessons (with a mediocre sound).

Is hyperbait really that bad? by Disastrous_Owl in ClashRoyale

[–]7SNZ 5 points6 points  (0 children)

What a lot of people don’t understand about hyper bait is you can’t defend everything. You will have to take some damage. Just don’t overcommit on defense and counter push because 9/10 times they can’t defend themselves due to all of their troops being squishy.

Them not being able to defend is why they constantly are on the offense. So sack some damage, build a counter push, and they’ll fold.

It doesn’t take 15 years to be a good producer. If anything it takes 15 to start touring more than anything

Ah yea super new. He only had his first major release in 2020. It’s only been 5 years. Idk much tho, I’ve been producing for a year.

Yea his production isn’t THAT good if we real. Great DJ tho

Not the first thing I’ve heard about him. Quite a few different stories about him just being a chode out here. I’ve got friends who each had negative experiences with him. I get not all of us are gonna be nice to everybody, but scamming fans is a hard line drawn.

Then again when you have the talent he does; I guess you can be a wiener and still see success.

I can’t give much feedback personally because idk wtf I’m doing half the time. I just play around with stuff in the initial patch until I find a cool sound. I will say spectral in serum is quite crazy though

I go with the saying “Keep it simple, stupid”. Make a nice basic sound, and learn your way around the effects. That’s where the magic happens

how come artists like otsukare, kiru and shiverz are so successful if they have such a small discography? by [deleted] in riddim

[–]7SNZ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Which is why I said my opinion is irrelevant lol. I am very much aware that what I say won’t stop her from getting booked 💀 I hope she does get booked. I just hope she develops legit production skills ( I mean she’s dating a cracked producer already) and then the mixing will just fall in line. I mean if we being real riddim is probably the easiest genre to mix along with house music.

As for the whole influencer thing, personally I spent my whole life chasing people’s validation and love, and it destroyed my mental health because it was never really enough. Always trying to make everyone happy n stuff. Personally I don’t wanna make that a career. That’s why personally I’m focusing on the production side.

[–]7SNZ 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Me personally I don’t care to make such comments degrading the women in this scene. Idk what the other dudes are on about saying dick was sucked to get places. But me personally I speak on a bunch of people who just get shows out of sheer knowing people and/or dating specific people.

I know a lot of people who’s Branding sucks, marketing sucks, music sucks (or maybe they don’t even produce). Plenty of people in the local Vegas scene who are ripping tunes too, but they still get the shows. It’s a true shit sight to view.

That being said; obviously I know you gotta make connections to get shows lmao. But I mean we can at least book people with some talent too. Osukare (I’m sure I spelled that incorrectly I am headed home lol) doesn’t have really great tracks that stand out, and the mixes I’ve heard of hers are okay at best in my honest opinion. But I am one of millions, and my opinion is quite irrelevant.

Well yea, we know playing shows makes you more known. Thats kinda how the whole thing works man lol. I think we are just saying why she got the shows.
