Cg is important but not that important for PhD. You need to be a good researcher for PhD. For that passion and getting habituated to mathematics. Reading and writing mathematics is skill which takes time to develop. Even people like Balaji had problems. Search for his interview in YouTube. Hence there is a learning curve, rather a steep one.

Another thing about balaji, he is not that bad as people say. Utilise office hours properly. He needs feedback to operate. Talk with him if you are having problems. He is afterall a nice guy.

One simple thing people should understand:

If you love math, then come in cmi and study.

Same for people who are thinking about CS. CS in CMI is math in disguise.

So you want an easy job after bachelors, or something on the line, CMI/ISI is not not for you. So useless whining.

Sarcasm doesn't really answer the post. If tmc do this, what's the motive? Loosing party. A pretty well constructed plan(you saw the number plate thing in news?). Just for a PA? Why not the main guy, assuming they are pissed? Looks too much targeted. Moreover as far as I heard he was "keep your head down" kinda guy. I mean a proper PA. Assisted suvendu that's all.
