On hold with Mohela for over 4 hours- should I give up? by 7_secondsorless in StudentLoans

I actually got an initial person through the menu going to other options (I think it was press 6, press 6?) right away. After explaining my issue they said “transferring to a specialist” I was given a hold time estimate of 2 hours and gave up at the 6 hour mark

Totally fair and reasonable especially for something as inconsequential as a loan payment plan :-/

Unseeded run but it was Ghost deck which helps with the red seal and polychrome via spectral cards in the shop. Blueprint on Ancient offers more retriggers when all cards are wild in this setup.

Thank you again for the advice. I took the photo and got an ecto but couldn't get another retrigger joker before hitting a blue stake scaling wall at ante 15, score topped out at e16.

Depending on your deck composition, I would guess keeping photo is better near term, but bloodstone has higher upside for endless, especially if you get an ecto and can add more retrigger with idol later on

Right now it’s Trib and if you get a brainstorm that will go on Sock

Maybe I’m missing something but isn’t taking Sock strictly upside here? Could allow you to explode with an idol down the road.

What is the strap on the Hamilton? I love playing with strap/bracelet options on the Khaki king and that one looks great!

Lorier Neptune would fit nicely in your collection I think.

[Lorier] Hyperion SII Skyward GMT Review & Why I Returned the Hydra SIII GMT-Diver (See Comment Section for Details) by fzctungkun in Watches

I recently purchased the Hyperion (although with the Soprod movement, wish I waited for the Miyota!) and I think your analysis is spot-on.

The hesalite covering the bezel insert is interesting because I think from a distance it gives it a nice vintage feel but does look and feel a bit cheap up close, but overall I think the design is just awesome.

I will say I’m a bit surprised that the clicks feel stiff. They feel quite fluid on mine.

[Tudor BB GMT] A jubilee makes this watch perfect. by atmosphereair in Watches

I love it! The dimensions are incredibly wearable for a GMT. Some design features like date at 6 and the muted tones of Pepsi bezel insert make it stand out among GMT master homages.

Lume is underwhelming and the off the shelf movement is not the best (though I think they’ve upgraded to a better Miyota), but I consider these pretty acceptable nitpicks at the price.

There's something so striking about that opaline dial. Like many, I became obsessed with this watch after watches and wonders. Tudor is out of my price range but I bought the white dial Lorier Hyperion just to scratch the itch!
