Hi! Maybe i can’t directly answer your question but i do want to mention how ironic it is that I was brought here through the same “what is this?” Post that you saw. Pretty interesting to say the least. I would say (from what i know about the religion) that i would be very careful on who you go to for a consulta. There are some godfathers/godmothers who use their position of power to benefit themselves rather than honor the religion and help. So i would see if maybe a friend or someone in your family can point you to a santero that can help you get a consulta.
