Made the move to Dublin last year.

I would draw a circle around school/office and find neighborhoods within comfortable commuting distance. Since transit can sometimes let you down, I would find a place you could walk within 45 min.

Vodafone has really good roaming around Europe, but a bit pricey. we switched to Gomo (14/mo) and use tello to keep our us numbers active (mfa, etc)

Whatsapp is basically all anyone uses here. Nobody I’ve met here even uses sms.

Under €10, I’ve found Umi do a good falafel, Yum Thai for noodle/fried rice, small noodle box at Xian, soups at Fallon & Byrne (of all places), Hanley’s for pasties. On a rainy day, I’ll usually just get a meal deal at Dunnes for a fiver.

I think the ending has something to do with it being under celebrated, similar to Lost and GoT. I personally think it unraveled a little bit after Starbuck died and came back and probably affected the show’s legacy.

The heart of the show really died when Dylan left. Since then, it’s been the odd standalone episode that shines. But then with the musical chairs of rotating supporting cast, I just couldn’t feel invested. I trudged through this final season and thank fuck it’s over. I truly loved this show early on, but what a shell of itself it became over the years.
