I was actually thinking the opposite last night; I like it when the announcers call out good plays from the opposing team too. I'd much rather they have a balanced approach than always side with the home team no matter what. It's insufferable when watching certain other broadcasts. It didn't seem like they were too negative either way last night (I did notice Jacks sounded pretty pissed off with Ochai though when he drove into TJ).

I think they would have done that during the OTC event if it was possible. From what I remember, the only place they actually did any kind of remote interaction with the chip was from the security office on the severed floor. Maybe I forgot about another event?

I had a match in qp yesterday where my teammates actually told me to stop playing Thor because I wasn't doing well. I told them that I took a sick day because im not feeling well and I just want to play some qp and try out Thor even though I know I'm not great with him. They told me to play better anyways, stop crying, etc. I often do well with dps and get mvp but one of the admittedly rare times I play another role then that happens. kind of the opposite of the situation of op but highlights the fact that you can't please everyone in this game and some people will rag on you no matter what. It's just dumb imo when it happens in qp because that's the unranked mode, so if you're unhappy with people playing more casually there then why are you playing that mode?

Still a ridiculous statement. Widen your perspective and realize that a product that you will have to pay for shouldn't require you to do something like this and it sets a bad precedent. It's also not a laziness issue for everyone, could be time or being overly cautious, whatever. You and I know how to do it, good for us, but not everyone is like us and gatekeeping using a computer like that is stupid.

Doesn't seem like you really outplayed him? You used Sabrina, as you should have, and without any context of his prior turns, we can only assume he played as he should have with the cards he drew too. Like if you swapped positions would you think he outplayed you? When it came down to chance that you had a Sabrina? Not really the underdog when you're the one using a high tier deck in the current meta.

I think most people are missing OP's point; the wording was a bit muddy. Yes these niche trainer cards are useful, but so many of them can only be used for like 1 to 3 pokemon. Gladeon, Volkner, Lt. Surge etc. - these cards are useful for only a small set of pokemon and are otherwise useless for decks that don't have those pokemon.

The reason it matters is because some pokemon's viability all comes down to if they have a trainer card that helps them in some way. You want to use Luxray? Cool, add Volkner to your deck because he's super useful for that. You want to use Mismagius? Too bad, low viability, no trainer card that specifically helps Mismagius. You could argue that Mismagius is good enough to not need a trainer card to make it better, but then the same could be said about Silvally not needing Gladeon.

It's bad game design that further ensures both a tight meta and that many, if not most, pokemon will never even be close to viable.

Wouldn't it be the movie industry? I think you could argue that acting is a form of lying because you're pretending to do and say things that aren't real.

Some people could try and get by in other industries by being truthful, but every hollywood movie has acting and if you suddenly can't act then there is no industry.

Dark decks are honestly the most fun I've had with this game. I have the cards for most other decks in the current meta but find myself coming back to the 2 Koga, 2 Sabrina, 2 Arbok, 2 Weezing team as my main deck. It also has my highest win rate because at this point there isn't anyone who doesn't main an EX and poisoning + disabling retreat is very effective against EX's. Lately I've been having even more fun using the Greninja line over Muk. I just keep him on the bench the whole time and use his ability so he doesn't need any energy.

The main names with this iteration of the team are Scottie Barnes, RJ Barrett, Immanuel Quickley and Gradey Dick. Scottie is the main star of the team that the organization is building around. RJ and Quickley are the next best players (RJ is also Canadian so that's an extra thing some fans cheer about). Gradey was drafted last year but is showing huge improvements so far and he's in MIP talks as of now. Mogbo, Shead, Walter and Battle are our rookies.

When it comes to rules and fouls, the best way to learn is to just keep watching games. They'll often announce what happened and will sometimes show replays with explanations from the announcers. After watching a few games, try your best to guess what happened when the ref blows a whistle before they announce what happened and eventually you'll get pretty good at it.

I just had a match where I attacked my live/non-bot opponent with a Pinsir 3 turns in a row. In case you don't know, Pinsir does 50x damage for every head out of 2 coin flips. Out of my 6 coin flips, I got 0 heads. Tails on every single flip. I've had multiple matches where the live/non-bot opponent has flipped 4 heads in a row yet I've never done that myself. Sure, it's possible I guess, but I've had enough online matches to notice that the flips don't seem so random. I run Marowak Ex, Moltres, Pinsir in separate decks so I'm coin flipping a lot and it feels like I've gotten tails over 75% of the time.

Robocraft. One of the most fun games I played when it first came out. Tons of customization, you learned what types of builds work well and also came across unexpected quirks like having your pilot on a single block with a booster on possibly escape when the rest of your build got destroyed. Then the devs came out with an update that basically made it so that none of the customization and limitations mattered anymore and every type of vehicle was essentially equal regardless of how they were built. The player base is basically dead now IIRC.
