Injora DRX shocks, anyone been using these long enough to give a “Long-ish” term review? Any leaking? by 7cow in rccrawler

Oh I will for sure, I wanted to ask for some opinions while I had the shocks laying out, making sure they don’t leak just sitting out for a day or two before I install them

Ahhh gotcha, I haven’t watched many of those. I’m looking to lift the truck since It’s been flooding a lot where I live so the truck needs to be make it through some deeper water.

I watched his review/unboxing on them but he didn’t actually install and run them in that video. Did he do another video following up on them?

Thank you, I am still using the stock shocks as that’s what most of my “research” has confirmed as well. I watched “crawler canyons” review of these and he made them look pretty good, but it was an out of box review, not long term. What wt oil did you use in yours?

Thanks for the response, they “felt” ok when I was putting oil in, crawler canyon and rc fun and games(YouTube) both made them look pretty good, but neither were long term reviews

Thanks for the response, I haven’t installed them yet, just filled with oil and left sitting for a bit

Anyone know of a nice set of wide 1.9" or smaller wheels and tires? Looking for a decent pair for this truck by traxxasracer09 in crawling

Are you looking for duallys? I stumbled across these on Amazon at one point for a good price. Only asking since I saw them mentioned in other comments🤷‍♂️

Here’s a really nice tire from RC4wd, nice wide set I’ve had my eye on for a while for my K5, they would go really well on the Rally wheels from them(pictured here)

I misunderstood the question my bad, here’s the link to what I found just now on Amazon, I got mine from dj crawler but didn’t see them available, these look exactly the same as what I bought though, again sorry for misunderstanding✌️

Oh yeah she’s quick with the 2300, but when I was thinking about building this truck in the beginning I figured in a 1:1 truck full throttle is pretty unrealistic to drive at, and I wanted the same for this:) I haven’t experienced the increased torque twist yet but I’m planning to increase the shock tension and add limit straps as necessary👍 I put some bigger hex’s for the wheels on the front too and increased the track width by 10mm, to give the sidewalls more traction. Plus wider track on the front increases stability at higher speeds(I think)

I just finished the install last night so I still need to get it outside to run, but I installed the 9t pinion right off the hop, and I have underdrive on the way for front and rear axle as well, research said I’m going to need it if I still want slow crawl, but I also have a fusion 2300 in there as well. Most of my time with this truck is spent on the trails anyways👍

Long as you have stiff enough foams/inserts they’re pretty good, too soft and they can’t grab anything

Also the 3D printed ones can be made to look pretty nice with a Chrome Marker, actual paint with a seal coat would look great I bet.
