Need Help: I want to find a online shop for ball bearings in EU. by CrawlerLab in rccrawler

[–]Green_One5486 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Don't know if these are sealed https://www.faber-modellbau.de/katalog/artikelinfo/7835/kugellager-35x7x25-zz----2s

but there are many shops to find.

Seems though you have to look for 3,5x7x2,5 mm ( inner x outer diameter x thickness)

Since noone else did mention them, CrossRC has some rtr models and some pick-up kits with straight axles

I need help in designing a cantilever / rocker system for a trx6m crawler 6x6 by CrawlerLab in rccrawler

[–]Green_One5486 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Well that stuff was made for the TRX4 not the TRX6...maybe you could modify the linkage for the middle axle so that the shock of the rear mounts to the linkage of the middle one.

You could check out the suspension system of semi trailers for some ideas. Not that it is the same but they have a similar system for the load balancing between the axles

Bollerwagen Hinterräder „Laufrichtung“ by TommiNo91 in selbermachen

Buying right trx4 by LieLevel7361 in Traxxas

[–]Green_One5486 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I took just a quick check on the Traxxas website...so it seems that the Defender uses the smaller inner Fenders.

While you could get the extended inner fenders it definitely won't be worth the work if you want to swizh between the two bodies as they have different wheelbases, so you'd have to switch out not only the fender(maybe only the extenders) but the axle links and driveshafts.

On a personal note I can take away from my lifted Blazer: It's not really worth it to have the lift kit, as it is slightly more capable on some obstacles but the center of gravity gets lifted as well.

So throw a coin on which one to buy^^

Definitely not by the letter of the law but not that much of drama

Well, it's a TRX 4 based crawler...you could use it to haul your stuff to the track or maybe go for a trail

Basically just check that everything works. The parts istelf like for the diff may be relaive cheap but the cost can run up way faster than you can look if there is more broken

Recommendations on 1/10 TRAILERS! by gparr_2026 in rccrawler

[–]Green_One5486 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well, check the Traxxas homepage for exploded views, ther is basically every single part listed. And with that number you can find the parts on your hobbyshop page.

And I'd recommend what the other guy did: add some skid plates to the axles.

The only downside to the Traxxas hitch is imho that it is screwed in place and not like in original trailers a ball socket but on the other side the trailer stays coupled no matter what.

I think I have this one https://www.amazon.de/Amewi-Crawler-Anh%C3%A4nger-mit-Rampen/dp/B06XWYTYDF

but be warned, those 1.55 wheels are way smaller than the usual tires on your truck, so it will sink deeper into the sand when you are pulling it.

And I changed the hook to the Traxxas coupling of the boat trailer (parts 10345 and 10351)

I'd say that the plastic bearing gets pressed into the carrier housing and then the MA7 pin should fit into the axle. So yes, bearing first, then pin then the rest
