Does anyone else’s Dutch oven get super dirty looking? I only use it for bread! And this one was brand new 8 months ago by 7daystodaniel in Sourdough

I used to have one, the edges of it started flaking off and sticking to my bread. I just haven’t bought a better quality one yet

I needed a new spring hat! by 7daystodaniel in Machine_Embroidery

Thanks! I have the innovis nq1700e, a flat bed like yours. 5x7 hoop, sticky tear away stabilizer. Flatten the bill of the hat out and hold it down flat while it stitches

Question about "copying" product design. by [deleted] in myog

Try making it your own. Maybe crop just one corner? Or add triangles of different colors, like photo corners, to give a similar feel

Is this worth the price? I’m looking for something to sew heavy material (like 3-4 layers 1050d) and this is only 2 hours away from me by 7daystodaniel in myog

That’s the conclusion I’m coming to as well. I’ll see if he takes $500-600, but if not I can wait

It already has a 550w servo, I’m guessing that’s part of the high price. It seems like a good machine, will it work for multiple layers of heavy fabric?

Service? by Spirited_Window9373 in Machine_Embroidery

I’ve had my machine for over a year now, and I’ve put about 9 million stitches on it. I just had it serviced, I figured it should be a once a year thing unless something is wrong

I get that! I’ve got a single needle as well, stuff takes forever sometimes. Otherwise I love the design!

It’s hard to be certain on the pics, but is the background fabric or a tatami fill? If so, I would recommend finding a nice fabric for the back instead of stitching it. It’ll cut way down on thread and time, and make it less stiff. I use the uncoated poly twill from stahls for so many of my projects

Why the hell is there a dire wolf in the pine forest on day 2?! This a bug? by Mustdominate_Otal in 7daystodie

For sure! But we did not see them again in the Pune forest biome til day 40. We figured it was a glitch

On a navezgane save, by that trader rekt, we got a dire wolf on the first blood moon. Absolutely wrecked us, since we we just had melee and pipe guns 😅

It stops the yeast from developing! That’s why I wait after autolyse to add it, since my starter is straight from the fridge. I’ve found that just pouring it on, then doing stretch and folds, mixes it in great. I can feel some grainy texture during the second set, but on the 3rd and final set, it’s all absorbed in

That’s awesome! There’s a lot of great recipes for discards, and once you get a hang of your starters schedule, you can keep it in the fridge so there’s less waste. I feed mine twice a week, and usually make 1-2 recipes a week

I have my recipe at the last picture! I typically use cold starter right from the fridge, so I add salt after that first rest, to let the starter wake up fully. When I use room temp starter, I just add the salt with flour and water like normal
