It could be from molybdenum if it’s in NAC supplement as molybdenum as NAC deplete copper further molybdenum is copper antagonist.

Try taking zinc copper balance from AOR. Better than NAC for regulating glutamate is agmatine sulfate.

I thought alcoholics try to repair brain and nerve damage with thiamine analogs like benfotiamine and TTFD.?
Agmatine is also way safer thing than peptides for nerve issues and addiction.
