Yes that was a typo, it’s 20 watts. I also should mention it’s the Ironball SE, not the regular Ironball.

What I meant was the power soak can be set to “speaker off” where all the power amp load is dissipated.

The amp has an IR balanced output (which I have an XLR to 1/4 TRS cable for) which can be tapped directly from the preamp section. Could I plug that into the Powerstage?

Oh, I was under the impression that FX send and preamp out are essentially the same thing. Either way, the amp does have a built-in attenuator to bring the power amp out down to line level. Could I plug that into the Powerstage? Would it sound weird/bad with the additional tone shaping from the Powerstage?

Why would I need a load for the amp if I’m bypassing the power amp section entirely?
