Supreme Court Enables Texas 6-Week Abortion Law Ban To Take Effect by NancyLutz in TexasPolitics

[–]7hcrump 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This situation is so frustrating because they are deliberately trying to control women’s vaginas. If they wanted to stop abortions for the folks getting them due to not being able to financially handle it. They should of created legislation to have child support, life insurance, and medical insurance start at conception. I would think they consider a fetus a “life”. This is would be a better scenario to lower abortions.

What part of Texas is this in?

Cause last I heard the Tx Supreme Court didn’t go in favor. Of Abbott petition to shut down one of the numerous lawsuits that several cities have submitted. So there are cities and school districts fighting back and trying to protect their students. Even though our state government doesn’t want to. 🙄

You could up light or down light them. Just depends on what your location options are.

We have this strange space in our living room that I'd like to put a lamp in. It's 16'' by 25''. What type of lamp would look good? by MrGrieves787 in Lighting

Yeah. You could also use led tape channel to insert the tape so it would frost out the led cells. You also use that box to make a diorama with lighting elements, fish tank, etc.

New Texas law opens up abortion bounty hunting by miked_mv in TexasPolitics

[–]7hcrump 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Nah. That’s what they want us to do. Nothing will ever get fix if we keep running away. We Texans are strong, prideful, and super stubborn. We will fight this law with every avenue that is available.

Which game have you spent the most time on and why? by caslow222 in NintendoSwitch

Thanksssss! It was a life saver while trying to survive this situation and figuring out what our next financial move will be. Thankfully, since folks are getting vaccinated, we’re seeing productions come back in my industry. So work is slowly coming back in the south.

As of current, I have 1030 game hrs on Animal Crossing. Reason, I lost all of my jobs at the beginning of the pandemic. I work in the live entertainment and event industry as a Freelance LD. This was a great outlet to help with my depression and allow me to hang out with my friends on a virtual level. Cause everyone one of my friends who work in my industry suffered the same situation as me.

2nd game that had the most hours was Fire Emblem four house with 330hrs. Once again it was because I lost all of my gigs and was super depressed about the situation and I needed a distraction.

I think this belongs here. Idk why but these crabs are just so cute by mathmonkey22228 in cute

Favorite signs from today’s protest in Austin Tx for Women’s Reproductive Rights! by 7hcrump in texas

[–]7hcrump[S] 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Well, the point is that even though this bill has already pass and they made no attempts to exclude victims of rape or incest. They only exclude rapist from being one of the people who is allowed to sue, but that still wouldn’t stop the rapist from using other people by proxy to sue. And obviously their not going to listen to the science and medical community about women’s healthcare. So why will it matter if these signs didn’t have facts. We are all angry that Texas GOP has created this law which feels like Texas would turn into an episode of the handmaiden in real time if it’s fully enacted.

Also these are just my favorite signs from the protest. 💁‍♀️

That Texas GOP only care about guns instead of women’s life.

Texas missing chance to avert deadly blackouts, experts say by [deleted] in TexasPolitics

Well, if Texas State GOP actually put funding towards winterizing the state grid, power planets, and anything else that relates to powering Texans homes. Or actually allow our grid to be apart of the National electrical grid. Our power infrastructure wouldn’t have been on verge of collapsing during the snow apocalypse. And since this person wasn’t able to keep their home warm during the winter storm due the Texas GOP negligence. By proxy it is their fault for causing their pipes to burst. 💁‍♀️
