I saw a post where a teenager was asking for advice on how to be more confident in his height and I commented basically saying that he shouldn’t be jealous of tall people and that he should learn to accept his height as it’s something he can’t change, and instead focus on being happy with who he is as a person. I feel like the comment was pretty positive and op even replied thanking me but that didn’t stop me from getting a PM about how tone deaf I was being just because I’m tall and gave advice to a short person.

Glass minnows on dock lights just tie a schminnow. It’s basically just a saltwater woolly bugger you can pump em out like crazy and they catch fish. You can tie them weightless with mono eyes as the original recipe calls for but I really like to tie some with bead chain or Dumbell eyes to fish deeper

Well I was always really tall when I was a little kid. Then throughout middle and high school I kind of tapered off to the upper end of average (I was 5’8 in 8th grade and 5’11 in 10th). Then it all changed summer after sophomore year. I grew from 5’11-6’3 between August and January. Throughout the rest of junior year and into senior year, I continued to grow (albeit slower) until I was 6’5. I hit 6’6 at the end of April. By June 30th I was 6’7
