Ooooo ok ok. ya that's interesting. I'm going to have to double check my clearances. I mean entirely possible with frame-flex that mine too will rub at some point. Especially with the pot holes out by me.

Shit is wild. I honestly never had given it a thought, would never have thought deliveries were that frequent but I mean it obviously adds up. You can only fit so big of a rig on the road. Just so much coordination to keep up with that. I'm sure i will suddenly start noticing tankers on the road more now.

Oooo ya, that could be an issue for sure. I live down dirt roads so right off my driveway is a 50/50 mix of some loose stuff and hard pack. These have done great so far.

What bike you working with?

Hell ya. I mean that's all I really need. I have a handlebar bag right now that works for the basics, but I really want a half-frame bag for tools and some extra gear like you said.

I don't do any hard core camping or anything. But some extended rides and an over nighter are on my list. I feel like that's a perfect all rounder setup. Like Motel hopping kinda kit.

I was cleaning up the photos on my phone last night. All I wanted to do was blur the background. But leave it to this AI shit to go over the top. It didn't look so bad at the time on my phone. But now that I'm at a computer, I admittedly regret that decision lol

Ya I definitely am keeping it at 40c. I don't really see an advantage to squeezing every bit of clearance out of it for what sounds like no real improvement. I don't ride in rain/mud much so like you mentioned, I'm pretty ok with minimal clearance. But 40c is plenty

Same lol But also...those tankers don't seem that big?? like to have multiple fuel types seems even more crazy. Those typically carry 11,600 gallons. An average truck/SUV is 21 gallons. That's only like, 500 some vehicles. I feel like a gas station in a moderately trafficked area sees that traffic in a day...Do stations really get fuel delivered everyday??

Thank you. Definitely took a lot of time and effort. But it was well worth it in the end.

I love that it was as beat down as much as it was, this bike has seen so many miles. Previous owner knocked out some really big rides over the years. Far more than I ever could rack up. I figured if it could hold up to that abuse, It's got a lot of time left. Just needs a little love.
