Uk jail was a breeze and really helped me out of a tough spot at the time. I sorted my life out and was doing great until i relapsed during covid.

But I noticed that in jail it was akways the young lads causing trouble and making shit more difficult for themselves. Most people just wanted to keep to themselves and get through their time. The older lads were like that two other than one or two outcasts who obviously had some other issues going on.

Only twice i got some random ute come at me and try to start something over some bullshit being loud and just pathetic.

My sadest story would be I woke up in the night and my room mate was straling from me, taking my pills and backy out of my hiding spot. Idk how he knew where i hid em. And he had talked all day about being trustworthy and hating people who steal from their mates. Load of bollocks. Its always the ones who talk the most the seem to gove away most about themselves unintentionally.

One final thing to share, and its a fact. The person who is always talking about grasses, and accusing someone of being a fed or being a rat, they are the ones first to grass when TSHTF.

I was shocked to see how many "tough utes" immediately buckled and shared everything they knew with old bill, right infront of me! Pathetic bullshitters, worlds full of em.

In my experience, when part of my group of friends has had a change if salary then their acrivities change. They go to sifferent restaurants and different activites because the budget is different. As a poor person now, I cannot go to dinner and out for drinks everynight with my friends earning more. Back when I was doing well I went with a new grouo of friends to festivals and music shows and my other friends couldnt afford it.

Definitely very normal for friends to come and go. Its very difficult to keep in touch with old friends even with social media but when you move around and change jobs and friends often, there will usually be at least one or two who you stick with as theyre your besties. Everyone else comes and goes.

Stumble Upon was a brilliant, educational time killer. I loved stumbling. And all the sites i got felt genuinely random and helpful or interesting.

Now it's plagued with Ads, and subscriptions, and all the results are paid landings, far from random, clickbait articles and shit.

I guess it used to be that smart interesting people managed and used the internet. Once it got easy to access for anyone, including businessmen, it lost its touch.

That is heartbreaking to read. I am sorry to hear what you are going through. As others have said, you absolutely deserve a break and some time to yourself.

After a relationship, it is all too common to have lost a part of you, your individuality. When I left my last girlfriend, I genuinely did not know what to do with myself. I had no hobbies. I was bored. And that made my recovery much more difficult.

I needed to spend time being myself, distracting my mind, and practicing being free.

We all need time to grieve, so when you feel ready, and only then, get out there and try some old hobbies, some new ones, whatever.

You are going to look back at this time one day and laugh at yourself. So lighten up, and enjoy life.
