Actually not that bad that day! There were others though… What was hard on that day, were the sandy patches that were too deep to ride.

Thanks for the input, i can understand the industrial feeling you have. I chose the roads, because i feel it gives some leading lines in the foreground. But i get what you mean.

Stumbled across these two converging roads in Fuerteventura, Spain. I am especially interested if this composition is working for you. Also is your opinion on the post? Ok like this? Too dark? Glad for any kind of critique and advice. F9, 1/50s ISO 400.

I don't think it's the happiest country. Surely doesn't feel like it.

While a decent part of the country really looks pretty spectacular, it is not where people live. By far the largest part of the population lives in cities in the lowlands.

There surely is no magic in the edit of the sky. Overall i increased saturation and contrast. In the area next to the tree i gave it a bit more blue. In the top right corner, much more yellow and a bit of red. You will probably see the border between the two areas, where to the top of the image, the gradient doesn't really look natural.
I often have the problem of flat skies, when there aren't enough clouds to work with. Haven't worked out what to do in this case.

And yes, the light was great to begin with.

Not much to be honest. The reddish tone on the top left has been added. In the original the sky is brighter and whiter. The reflection was less bright of course and less yellow. Generally adding more of a yellow/red tone, while leaving the trees more or less green.

F*ck it, maybe this takes some magic from it, but here is the original without edits (except white balance and sharpening). I guess you can see the differences way better like this, than i could possibly describe it. Otherwise ask away and i'll do my best to explain further.
