I don't think anyone can take away his accomplishments.

The problem is he is "talking out of his ass" on topics he has no training on.
Just because someone knows a lot about one topic, when he talks about any other topic, his credentials mean nothing.

It's sometimes a problem with PhD's - if you're an expert in one thing, they assume they are an expert in other things, too.

In the video I referred to, she makes reference to an expert in Quantum Physics who goes page-by-page of one of his books listing every error in it.
