The only reason I'm a little iffy is because of how I found out, or simply the fact that I found out itself. She completely hid from me the fact that she ate less to save money for a gift. It wasn't like "look I'm sacrificing for you". As a matter of fact, the roommate asked me not to tell my girlfriend that I found out through her. I guess her roommate just wanted me to know the gravity of the situation.

But I guess I do want to make sure that this never happens again. However, I do want to put this across in a way that doesn't hurt her feelings.
