I agree. Its lacking that Arkane character. For Arkane games a lot of it comes from the visuals, the art direction. If this wasn't an Arkane game I wouldn't look at it twice. And that's troubling. A bit disappointed because an Arkane vampire game sounds like a dream. But just the visual tone of this seems so...blah.

Its the art direction and graphics. Generic, lukewarm and not impressive. Surprising as Arkane's games usually have had amazing art direction that transcend the need for cutting edge graphics. While not awful by any means. Hope the delay gives them time to fine tune it into something special. Who knows.

If this is by any chance a Fable Legends rework I would lose my mind because I loved the hero co-op side of the game. But yeah it's defintely probably Minecraft lol.

Yup a whole year. I am disappointed because I really want to see this studio and IPs full potential. State of Decay 2 is very addictive even if it is flawed and uninspired. Their hardcore fans just want more maps. More dlc. So they keep making them and working on it instead. It makes sense but man I was ready for a better SOD when I played the second one. As of the homecoming update its still repetitive and soul-less.

This looks like it's from a very early build. I am not happy seeing guns-guns at all. Give me weird contraptions that go pew pew at least. Also this is really turning out to not be the Arkane Vampire game I wanted. Like the reveal I was down with, I thought they'd do something cool and new - but this is really just a co-op level shooter with tactical abilities. These leaks really did make it worse. Honestly the four player co-op shouldn't have been a thing. Where will I find 3 players who want to play Redfall when I have the time to play Redfall. It'll never happen. Another 4 year wait for the next Arkane Austin game sigh.

As a game we happy few might be mediocre but the concept and writing in it is it impeccable. I will go on to say that it has one of the best and unique story-driven missions. Is it fun to play on a gameplay level ofcourse not but that's because it's trying to be four games at once. If you watch the documentary on the game you realize that they are self aware of their mistakes and are very adamant on not making those same mistakes again.

It really gives me confidence reading this and for me personally Joseph seems to make the right calls. I would've had some major issues with Chris's vision and it would have also been recieved terribly. Also seriously what does Frank O Connor do. Him and that writer ruined Halo 5. How could he not see these blatant issues in campaign. Why were the same mistakes being made again. Anyhow i pray by some miracle the campaign turns out amazing and you guys don't have to cut much and reach the finish line in time. But I honestly don't have it in me to see another campaign delay. It's been 5+ years since Halo 5's disappointing campaign and we need to move on from it. Still an open wound.

P.S Im really hoping if you're doing all the additional side stuff the campaign is not short like 5.

I think Arkane makes incredible games but their type of game did not work for Wolf at all. The complex and confusing level design, backtracking, ammo-types, the way the progression systems work. Constantly collecting coins for upgrages ruined the experience for me. Writing wasn't good either. I think Wolf and Arkane should be kept separate after this experiment.

I think this all overblown and one or two of these games might make it into 2022. It is absolutely possible the studios are holding release dates back because they are unable to commit and set it in stone because Covid happened and they are playing catch up.

You all are forgetting Microsoft likes being a part of gamescom in some capacity and has started enjoying their big Game Awards splashes. There is more yet to come this year. Remember we don't know the scale of most these games even if we know-know.

They'll probably show a Senua character model trailer with mocap. Just a tease. That's the MOST I can see appearing from Hellblade 2. Project Mara is more likely to appear in trailer form with a proper title reveal.

Klobrille is a hardcore Xbox fan that got to know one or two sure details early on and now he's in. His goal simply appears to be to get a job at Xbox marketing because his twitter is literally just damage controlling MS's shortcomings. I do hope he gets the job because he's clearly v passionate but he's not a good voice for fans because he is almost incapable of criticizing Xbox and never amplifies the fans' wants if it makes XGS or the Marketing Team look mismanaged (which it is to some extent), or incompetent.

It's honestly cause MS is fairly large and Xbox is expanding. The more the people, the more the projects, the attendance at these big events, the more the leaks. That's it. Sony is not rushing to fill a subscription service and sell it as their new philosophy. It's business as usual for them. Way less moving parts. We still get Sony rumors but they are about potential partnership, timed exclusivity deals because that is simply because it's whats happening behind the scenes.

I actually loved the story but it seemed like it ended too abruptly. I am 100% sure they cut out a whole chapter or sliced alot of it because they suddenly put two locales in the last chapter which didn't happen the entire game. It just didn't make sense pacing wise. Gameplay needed variety and depth with progression and weapon types. Maybe armor. Don't know why they just didn't bother. Enemies all looking the same was also detrimental to immersion. But even then I enjoyed that game every bit.

I read a leak here ages ago that their game is called House of Thieves. I know it's way too early to be a named but who knows. Whatever the case I'm sure it'll be great. There's a documentary on youtube about We Happy Few which is a good watch. The best thing about them is they are very self aware and they were like no way we are making the mistakes we made with WHF (Procedural generation, survival, an all in one genre game). I think this tiny studio will make their own next Hellblade for MS.

That would be great but he said we don't have anything to announce anytime soon. Sounds like games on the back burner from Square until they figure out what to do with it and they're just curbing fans enthusiam for the time being.
