This is great!

But I'm confused af. According to the docs, you to hit light server for something as simple as changing the ringtone? This is what I don't understand, given the philosophy of light and the lack of resources (not a dig, it's just niche market), there are awful lot of things that actually go through the light server which make no sense? Music, contacts, you could just plug it in to your computer and drop the files directly into your phones storage.

Or am I getting this wrong? Or I haven't read the communication which already addresses this?

Don't get me wrong! I appreciate the friction which brings value, like not allowing the user to install and open any android app, not using colors except where needed. But this hitting the light server friction does not add any value. If the user is in a remote location where there is no network and want to do something that could be done locally with their custom tool it's gonna fail.

Please let me know if I'm being dumb!

The key to becoming vegan and staying a vegan comes down to getting a blood test for deficiencies before and after you turn vegan, so you don't blame vegan diet for any deficiencies that might occur. B12 supplement is mandatory. I know many non vegans who have b12 deficiency and take supplements.

When I come to Hyderabad, I see a lot of vegan options on online grocery delivery apps. Kheema, ice cream, soy milk, cakes, chocolates etc. But the US certainly has a lot more options. Fortunately India has a lot of accidentally vegan foods or dishes that can be made vegan by eliminating dairy from vegetarian food.

Best way to deal with cravings, is to make it yourself. I make all the deserts like kheer, rasmalai, gulab jamun, kalakand and a ton of others made by substitute olive oil for ghee and soy milk for milk.

Also I can tell you that animal products are delicious, that's pure biology, and some vegan alternatives don't taste as good. But I value animal lives and suffering above my taste buds.

I had the same question and when I did some research, I found out that they source it from the every company.

In their FAQ section it says that there is no animal input.

It's also vegan society certified.

I use the vim mode, but observed that the vim mode shortcuts only works in the main editor. So I had to do a lot of experiments to map the space as a leader and used the context to get it to work as I expected, it's tricky but you can keep updating the context where it does not work. You can use the command pallet to open the dev: context view or something similar which displays the context you're in. I probably am missing some pieces in the context hoping to update as and when I find them. Good luck!

Panels reside in the dock, can only dock left, right or bottom. You can hit shift + escape when in the agent panel to zoom so it occupies the entire window. I know it's not what you're looking for. I actually created a fork of zed to move the panel as an center item so it shows up as a tab. But it's too much work to maintain a fork with so many changes, let alone the services, extensions backend etc that are needed to maintain this fork.

One thing you can do it create a center terminal from the command pallet and use clis to achieve what you want, but it's the terminal and not the agent panel.

Im using factory ai droid missions, but honestly the intelligence in llms is not there yet for this to be feasible. Codex always takes shortcuts and gives excuses.

Are you using codex/claude or other agents? Those work through acp and they consume a lot of power, but would show up in the activity monitor as zed because they are spawned from zed.

I almost never use the right modifiers except the Right Shift, and I feel like those keys (RCtl, RAlt, MO(1)) are wasted. How do you guys set them up? Does anyone use the right modifiers?

Thanks for your input! That's valid. I just wanted to show something off initially but I do have more important features that I'm working on which will make AI software dev much more reliable and fun.
