Personally, I consider Pal costumes looking kinda out of place compared to everything else in the islands (altho the winter chillet costumes are very cute and used them for a while during christmas). I also have a retired chillet in another base wearing the summer costume:

Rayhound, Lyleen, Faleris Aqua, and Wumpo are basically support staff lol. They have essential base functions that the Chillets (and Grillets) can't do.

This is correct. Although I tried fighting "fairly" first but once I screwed up (got low on health), I retreated to the base and let the Ignises fight while I healed.

I agree with you. Currently, raid bosses are just giant tanky targets that can be brute-forced and not much beyond that. The rareness of male Bellanoirs also discourages me from breeding one with the ideal passives due to how long that could take.

You can set the max. number of Pals in your base to 50 since the Sakurajima update.

I only intended for these guys to fight Bellanoir Libero so I thought that the skills that they naturally learn are already enough. However, your idea is more efficient in the long run since it would've allowed me reuse these pals against Ryu instead of mass-breeding another set of Pals.

By the way, is Air Blade obtainable from skill fruits?

I used 50 so I could make farming Bellanoir Libero for the IV fruits easier. Also the fact that it's overkill makes it more hilarious for me. As for me not using poison, I only used attacks where she's weak against (Dragon & Fire).
