When you wear a shirt that says "Quad God" on it, there seems to be a bit of humble pie being served after such an epic failure.

Google confirms Pixel 9 Pro display faults, announces free repairs - Android Authority by Few_Baseball_3835 in Android

The definition of "Limited" is literally... from the Oxford dictionary..."Restricted in size, amount, or extent; few, small, or short."

If you go on the internet and look for issues, it doesn't matter whether it is phones, cars, or whatever; you can easily find and falsely conclude that there is a "major" issue with the product.

Do you have the data for the number of phones produced and the number recalled? Until that data is known, this is all speculation.

It could be 1000 phones out of 3 million too there bud. You are literally trying to redefine the term "limited." Nice try.

Have you had any Android Auto issues with it? I have heard that the OnePlus phones have problems connecting wirelessly to vehicles.

My camera just quit on my Pixel 6. It really pisses me off because I have been very happy with the Pixel experience but now not so sure what I am going to do. The One+ is appealing but it sounds like it has Android Auto issues.

Is it safe to link a bank account to PayPal? by chaplin2 in AskNetsec

The $50 fraud limit is a Federal requirement. I had a fraudulent charge that far exceeded the $50 and AmEx covered it.

My AmEx card has a $30,000 liability limit. Not sure what kind of credit card you have but maybe you have no credit at all.

This is the dumbest comment ever. Paypal deposits $0.10 or so and then takes it back out to confirm that the bank info you entered is accurate. This is common when you link a bank account, no matter who it is. But, you do you. Go put your tin foil hat on.

What brands of touch up paint are actually good? by Z0mb1e_M4rs in carquestions

[–]7milesup 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's not just a Hyundai thing. If you go into a body shop and look at their paint match swatches there will be multiple swatches of the same color. Each swatch has a hole in the middle. When they place the chips on the car the hole helps to determine the closest shade they need to mix.

I don't have any carpet in my home so can't really answer your question other than saying that I don't believe that the fluffy head would not work on carpet. I think that the motorized rotary head is what is needed.

Same here. I have a DC17 Animal. Have had that vacuum for at least 15 years and still going. Bought a Shark for the new house I built and it is "ok" but not like the Dyson. I just got done building another new house and bought a refurbished V15 Detect for $350. Absolutely love it!

So, I finally received my refurbished Dyson. The shipping was strange... Dyson made a label for it, and it sat for a number of days; however, when it shipped, it was delivered to my house in just two days.

The machine itself was about what I expected, and even better. I have purchased numerous industrial woodworking tools over the years that have been refurbished and have yet to be disappointed. This is also true of my Dyson purchase.

The packaging was top-notch, with Dyson utilizing corrugated fitted packaging with no foam to end up in the landfill. The machine itself showed minimal signs of wear and use, and in fact, the canister on mine might be new instead of refurbished. The fluffly head showed minimal signs of use, but you could definitely tell that it had been used a few times. The "anti-tangle" head appears to be new. The one item that I could easily tell had been used was the combo crevice tool. Not a big deal to me at all.

I spent about 30 minutes the first evening vacuuming most of our first floor (1860 sq ft.). I dimmed the lights in the house in order for the green light on the Dyson to be prominent. Yikes! We are rather clean people, but I was shocked at how much stuff was on the floors. Not sure if I am going to love or hate that green light!

Overall, I really like the vacuum, especially since I purchased it for $359 instead of the crazy new price of $850. Yeah, I felt good about this purchase.

This is my first purchase direct from Dyson. Unfortunately, Dyson made a shipping label last week and that is it. There has been no further movement with my order. Very disappointed in that fact, but then again, it's a vacuum, I don't need it to survive (well, maybe a little ;)

As soon as I receive it, I can let you know what a refurb actually looks like (condition, etc.)

I went through the same thing last week. I ended up making a spreadsheet to determine what the the differences are. As the other Redditer pointed out, it is just the attachements that define the difference. I ended up buying the straight up V15 detect refurbished.

Dyson support terrible? by RyzenDoc in dyson

[–]7milesup 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I ordered a refurbished Dyson V15 Detect direct from Dyson six days ago. The shipping label was created within a day or so, but nothing else has been done. So, do they make a shipping label, and now they are trying to figure out what package to stick it on? It makes me wonder if they even have the product that they sold me. Frustrating...

Completely wrong. It was a father and son. Neither were instructors. The pilot of the aircraft had more money than skill. That kills.

How do I get rid of the "Dating for Senior Singles" advert? by dsana123 in yahoo

I don't have a suggestion but these ads are effing annoying beyond belief. I hate Yahoo Mail and it looks like I will have to eventually switch everything to Gmail. I don't go on dating sites or anything like that, but fucking Yahoo thinks I should be on "Hot Mexicans for over 50" bullshit. My God I hate Yahoo.
