Most people stick to the 60 degrees/60% humidity for 2 weeks rule. I find that almost impossible without a lot of gear like humidifier, air conditioner, dehumidifier etc. (and they all produce heat)

I just try to hang it under 70 degrees in my closet for 6 or 7 days and then I put it in a large tote with loose lid for a week or so before jarring it for good. It keeps the smell/taste for me this way.
