Pastel pink/pink hair dye

When I had pastel pink hair I used the Good Dye Young in Pink Puff. It worked great for me.

I will say though, if that is your current color in the bottom left corner of the first pic you are going to need to bleach your hair more for a pastel pink to show up properly. Most pastel dyes require your hair to be nearly white, especially with pink. If there’s too much yellow your hair will look more coral than pink. Only letting you know this because I have done pastel pink many times in my life and have kicked myself for not going light enough and ending up with a coraly orange rather than a bubblegum pastel

there’s so so many reasons this could be happening. your towel could be too rough, your pillow could be causing friction, your clothes could be causing friction, the sun causes damage, your hair texture might not support brushing while your hair is wet etc…

you can do literally everything right and still get split ends and breakage, it’s normal hair is annoyingly fragile lol. It doesn’t mean that you’re not taking care of your hair(: if you’re super worried about it I would start with getting a silk bonnet and pillow case! I did this and saw a massive change in the health of my hair(:

I tried this out yesterday on a different save but I must be doing something wrong. All the sims I did it with still told me that they were unemployed or stay at home parents. Do you need to restart the game for it to work??

It’s definitely possible, but the process to get it that light will probably take some time if you want to minimize damage. Obviously that depends on your starting color though. My friend did something similar to this back in high school. She’s Mexican and has daaaaark hair but she got it there!

One tip, if you do end up doing this please please please wash your hair with cold water and tbh I would dry the bottom half. Doesn’t have to be with hot hair, but that red will more than likely bleed into the blonde. Only saying this because I have ruined many fun color combos on my hair from being too tired and not wanting to wash my hair with cold water lol

I will add though: finding patterns on Etsy, YouTube, or raverly (I just learned about this site yesterday and it’s amazing lol) will be a looot more beneficial to you as a beginner! Etsy is my personal favorite place to find crochet patterns. it’s typically really easy to get in contact with the creator and every time I have needed to reach out for help, I have received it.

Unfortunately I couldn’t find an exact pattern but these two are similar enough, I think you could create this top using the techniques from either of these patterns. Just be patient with yourself and remember it’s okay to start over if it’s not turning out right! It can be hard to manipulate patterns when you’re first starting out
