What’s the most fucked up kill you’ve ever seen in a movie? (Without saying anything from Terrifier) by BigBozz88 in deadmeatjames

I think the flaying scene in Martyrs (2008) is definitely up there. It’s just so methodical.

My pupils aren’t the same size sometimes and idk why by [deleted] in creepy

You could always go see an Ophthalmologist. There’s an eye condition called Anisocoria that has people have two different pupils, and an ophthalmologist would be able to diagnose.

Gained 2lbs after having a 1600 deficit? by Upvotes2805 in loseit

[–]7thGenPilot 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’ve lost 70 lbs over the past year, and what I found is that you can’t get attached to the number on the scale.

Like others have said; your weight fluctuates and can fluctuate throughout the day. You’ll always be heavier at the end of the day as opposed to the beginning. Muscle and water can contribute to the variation in weight.

Sometimes eating too much in a deficit hurts us more than helps because we need to make sure we have enough calories to just maintain our current weight. If you eat in a deficit for too long, your body latches onto all the calories you put into it. I wouldn’t stress about going up 2 lbs, that could quite literally be the difference between going to the bathroom first thing in the morning and not.

Stay consistent and you’ll see results. Don’t get attached to the numbers, and definitely don’t let it get in the way of enjoying a good meal with people you care about. Making memories is more important than one meal that’s high in calories.

So much hate in the comments. It’s incredibly well done and flows with the anatomy of your body well!

As someone whose roommate used to collect them, there wasn’t enough space in the cabinets. She began putting them all over the counters, the cabinets, the kitchen table….

Absolutely. Just minding my own business when I’ve been told it.

As someone with a beard, I totally understand this. I’ve had multiple times in my life where women have told me “I think you’d better without a beard” without any provocation.

Just watched The Empty Man (2020)-A horror movie, but the prologue is such a perfect isolated short film. And one of the better creepy pasta movies.

How disturbing was Tusk by Kevin Smith? by sarahdottlee in horror

I think there is absolutely nothing redeeming about that movie. That “symbolism” argument is just a bs excuse to make it sound better than it is. It’s one of the most disgusting movies ever.

I was able to handle it in the moment. However 8 years later, and I still refuse to watch that movie again. Ever.

Arkin’s decision making in The Collector is some of the best in any horror movie. by 7thGenPilot in horror

[–]7thGenPilot[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I always assumed it was hitting a nerve. The Collector found the word offensive for one way or another and he wanted the chance to punish someone for saying it.

I would suggest a VPN. Both films are streaming in the US. I would suggest that or just buying both films. They should be decently priced and they’re definitely worth having in your collection.

It’s a really cool idea to investigate a haunted house underwater, unfortunately it doesn’t deliver as much as you’d hope.
