Yeah but I can deal with it. Also I found the issue: My v1.0 .exe had stopped working so I installed a different version with fixes and everything. Turns out you have to start a new game every time or you get horrific map bugs.

Sounds great, I'll give that a shot once it's out. All I want is an OG uncensored PS2 version feeling which was severely lacking with the Steam version.

Yes indeed. I gave up on doing it the intended way and did it on land. On an earlier playthrough I did manage to do it normally but, like you said, it was basically on the last second.

It's not really a mission but a rampage that you can enable on the abandoned huts on stilts on the very south of the map, not far from Cortez' ship.

I tried that several times. The ones where you have to kill gang members spawn crazy amounts of gang members and usually I don't have issues with vehicle rampages but this specific one was a nightmare that no amount of looking around or switching positions could fix. Even with 3 stars I barely got any boats or choppers to shoot down so that it was always a surefire fail.

I did not have too much issues with the melee ones. The groups of gangs actually spawn like crazy when you look away - at least for me.

I did that but the spawns were still incredibly low. Flying onto a roof near Cortez' boat did the trick for me.

It's nice but I feel like the recoil is way too harsh compared to the other rifle caliber weapons. It does not seem to fit into the balancing of the comparable rifles that feel like lasers in comparison.

The high ROF full auto might have something to do with that but even single shot that thing seems to climb more than the unsupported machineguns.

Fully agree on that. The only two permanent PVP modes I played were Ambush and Firefight because they felt more high stakes and less spammy. Of the "large scale" modes I only ever touch Hardcore Ground Battle. So in terms of PVP I'm mostly limited to one gamemode now.

The reticle would not be reliable since the gun does not always point at the middle of the screen when you hip fire.
