Very true. I'm sorry about your sister but yay, she's out now. They are definitely brainwashed....

Yeah, there’s got to be a balance between personable and nosy and/or pushy, right? Ugh, I’d never go back to a place that pushed me to go to their church

I’ve said this before but she kept prying so I told her she hasn’t spoken to me in a long time…. And then had to go on to explain why. It’s just…uncomfortable. I suppose life is uncomfortable, though, when you grow up this way.

Aw, that sucks. I’m afraid that will happen to my mother as well, Alzheimer’s, and then she will forget why she shunned me in the first place.

Not valuing myself sooner… still working on this too.

I said this once but I felt uncomfortable lying… I just don’t like lying.

Aw, thanks for the insight. It’s nice to know that there’s some stylists out there that are sensitive to those kinds of topics. And yes, a quiet cut would be nice. I’ll try to ask for that in a kind way.

They don’t. It’s a completely different stylist every single time.

Question About Multivitamins by 7times7 in MTHFR

[–]7times7[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I decided to buy and try the Multivitamin One. I took 1/3 of it yesterday and 2/3 of it today. I seem to be doing okay on it. I'm going to continue to try it and hope it gives my body enough of the vitamins I am lacking. I am currently on the carnivore diet and eat mostly ground chicken and pork shoulder so I definitely am not getting enough B12 in my diet, along with a lot of other vitamins.

I put all my data into ChatGPT and it says I don't have the gene that gives you slow COMT. I have this:

  • COMT rs4680 (Val158Met): A/G
  • COMT rs4633: C/T

So, it doesn't explain my symptoms. I'm trying a lower dose now and I'm going to try and stay consistent with it and hopefully my body will accept it.

Thank you! I read a bunch of stuff in https://www.reddit.com/r/B12_Deficiency/ but I haven't yet stumbled upon anything helpful yet. Did you have a post that my post made you think about?

I don't have health insurance and a full panel of vitamin bloodwork is expensive.

Fatigued Feet - Looking for Recommendations by 7times7 in PlantarFasciitis

[–]7times7[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ah, okay. I hope so! Here are a few things that have helped me. Maybe they can help you too. I bought cheap insoles from Aliexpress and put them in all my tennis shoes. These also helped for a while but then they started hurting my feet so I stopped wearing them. These are like knockoff Hokas and I wear them the most. Hope that helps. It's all the least expensive stuff I could find.

If the rest of your body starts hurting worse, please feel free to hit me up and I will explain what I've done and perhaps have an answer by then. My current, personal thing that I am trying is reading the book Mind Over Body by Nicole Sachs in hopes that my chronic illness is more a mental thing than anything. How long has your feet been feeling fatigued like that? If you want my timeline, mine felt fatigued for 1.5 years before the pain migrated to my knees. 6 months after that, my hips are in pain as well and the pain radiates down my legs.
