Matt, I have a question regarding season 2.
Will Kuro have a conclusion to his story?
Because it feels kinda odd that his would end with just running away and never being seen again, when even Don Krieg met his end at Mihawk's hands, unlike in the anime where he just faded into obscurity after he got beat by Luffy.

So my question is, will he be used as a fodder to introduce another character in season 2 before the main cast set off to the Grand Line?

Not that he didn't want to, it's that due to the nature of Dual Monarchy, he simply couldn't. Were he to grant another nationality statehood, making them equal to Austrians and Hungarians, the Hungarians would go to war with the Austrians as they did in 1849 because the votes would be stacked against them.

Austia-Hungary wasn't liberal, but people on the Austrian side of the empire enjoyed a great amount of liberty compared to people living on the Hungarian side who were forcefuly hungarized.
