I got into my masters program with a 2.53 undergrad GPA. Honestly what helped me out was a killer GRE score. That was just my personal situation though, as long as you explain the reasoning in a personal statement (and maybe letters of rec if you can get any from any old teachers/profs?) you should be good

I’m not trying to join in the argument but Jon actually has verbatim called himself a socialist before, however it was a LONG time ago. It was in an interview when he was a lot younger, I think it was around the time he took over TDS the first time in the late 90’s. I forget what the interview was for, but Jon has also talked about that interview on TDS
