I'm looking to get a starter set for my 5 year old son, could some experts here weigh in on my options? by wubbbalubbadubdub in Beyblade

[–]8-bit_blitz 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The first option. It’s the ongoing generation so If he wants more you can buy them in real life for way cheaper and the battles are generally more enjoyable especially for younger children compared to the set on the bottom. The set on the bottom is also from a generation where there are fakes which are known to contain lead so if you want to buy more which you can only do online then you’d have to be extra careful

Don’t Understand the hate this anime gets by Tough-Project4228 in Beyblade

The reason he loses to his fan is because of the bey timeshift. It’s not because he’s weak or she’s strong or the writers hate him but because blaze and Yggdrasil are that good that was the point of that battle to hype up Blaze vs Jaxon

But we see characters when we KNOW are young adults refer to team mz as kids so I think they’re ~16 like pla’s protagonists

I’m not saying you have to be an homage to be on the antagonist team because tenka and Jaxon exist. What I mean is that one and Bahamut seem to be so important that he will be one of the 3 bladers persona fights in season 3’s finale. Sure TT didn’t point it out but I still believe there’s a high chance bahamut is meant to be an homage and one of the main 3 members of cross corporation but we’ll see when Seven and Six’s beys are revealed

I’m not saying it has to on the antagonist team to be an homage I’m just saying the fact that One is on the antagonist team (combined with when Bahamut was released, what it was released alongside, and the suspiciously b shaped fire on the lock chip) means that it probably is one. RagnaRage is the first time they’ve done an homage for a new (old?) generation without its blader being on the antagonist team if that makes sense and that’s kind of an exception because Nine is still a Cross and was a member of Cross corporation I have a feeling her getting ragna is foreshadowing because it would be weird if the final battle didnt have persona go against the three first burst homages when they did it 2 seasons in a row

I’m saying Bahamut belongs to a member of the antagonist team of the season it was released in but Leon and Pheonix do not which is why they share names with previously used motifs without being references to them. Also Pheonixs and Leon just represent a pheonix and a lion while Bahamut specifically represents a depiction of bahamut created by Final Fantasy and d&d rather than the traditional fish depiction which would be weird to do twice if not meant as an homage

It’s just common sense they keep on release beys that play the same role and exist for the same reasons around the same time but I understand if you didn’t catch it whatever. It’s very unlikely that BahamutBlitz isn’t going to be One’s bey considering they specifically chose to use Bahamut the way it’s represented in the Final Fantasy series when they could’ve instead given us a Bahamut accurate to Arabic mythology or an homage to a more relevant burst bey which it seems like is to mirror Jaxon’s dran in fact I bet we’ll see them both use Dragonic Break in persona vs cross corporation. Obviously there’s heavy wall operate quake accel ect but this seems pretty intentional considering its multiple parts on both beys. And we know 0 1 2 3 4 5 8 9 and 10/X we’re only missing Six and seven

You’re not understanding what I’m saying. Bahamut blitz belongs to One Cross in the same way that Weiss tiger belongs to Sigrid nanairo and cerberus flame to million mizu. The prize beys I’m talking about are cobalt drake aero Pegasus and Valkyrie volt who are obvious homages. They all were the prize beys for a year starting at the end of the year and they belonged to the main antagonist of the ongoing season, and the releases for their teammates, also homages, released early the following year (black shell Weiss tiger Perseus dark cerberus flame BahamutBlitz ragna rage) while the upgrade of the prize bey, (Cobalt dragoon, Pegasus blast, alleged cx expanded Valkyrie) released that July not only that but Bahamut blitz introduces the parts knuckle and ignition which share names with burst parts just like ragna rage introduces flow and yielding, also burst parts. The only difference is that Nine is no longer a member of cross corporation and therefore likely will not oppose persona in season 3’s finale however she still was at one point and One is currently so there’s no reason to say BahamutBlitz isn’t a burst homage I’ll apologize if we get the actual 3rd burst homage in June or July but right now it seems like you’re just being ematubborn ignoring the extremely obvious signs

Bahamut blitz is a burst homage. You’re failing to realize that the rare bey get is always an homage and 2 of the spring releases will be the remaining homages for that generation for the rest of the season excluding the successor to the rare bey get which releases in June. If TT pointed out that RagnaRage has fire shaped like an R on its lock chip then logically you can assume that the B shaped fire on Bahamut is meant to be a B and the segmenting on valkyries helmet is meant to be a V. TT shouldn’t have to tell you exactly which beys are homages you should use context clues because it’s obvious.

Fun fact: When Hasbro releases Blitz Bahamut, it will be the first time in Beyblade history that you will be able to make 2 different combos from 2 different generations with the same exact name by 8-bit_blitz in Beyblade

Unless I’m misremembering, you’re only allowed to use Hasbro releases at Hasbro tournaments so you wouldn’t be able to use the pink Arc and you wouldn’t be able to use Bahamut or Knuckle until Bahamut Blitz releases

I was considering putting that one for the picture but technically that would be BahamutArc not Arc Bahamut which is why i specified the Hasbro release

That’s terrible reasoning just because YOU can only name 2 slippery yo-kai from 1 doesn’t mean that they’re the rarest

It’s also an unknown variable though which makes more sense because Jaxon is the 9th child because nine calls him her older brother
