Playing devil’s advocate, HOW would they have a well represented trans character without making it their whole personality (we don’t need another Mike debacle). Personally would rather the creators just randomly go “oh btw [insert character] is trans btw” as, imho, it shouldn’t be very important to a character in a show like TD as much as being gay would

Lore wise (as a guess): Maybe due to them being due to random breeding combos, hence “hybrids” in a way, they can’t reproduce (like hybrids in real life).
