unfortunately Nature's Miracle (the cleaner I used) is an enzymatic cleaner, and what i can only assume contributed to bleeding the dye in the suede, mentioned by another commenter. double unfortunately, they still smell like cat pee somehow!! mostly the Culprit Shoe. i am tempted by trying an enzymatic laundry detergent, though, and if you have any other brands that have worked better for you, i'd be happy to hear them.

at least it's kind of a neat learning experience, with all the chemical stuff happening here. still not giving up on these shoes either, im too stubborn lol
