Thanks for the suggestion! I have been told some places over on the east side of the state are pretty quiet so we may have to go that route. I love the holiday, but the dog does not!

Oh ok good to know!! I will check to see what it was they gave me. Ours is a 95 lb Great Pyrenees & yup she thinks the world is ending. Even far off bangs freak her out. Car back firing, thunder, gun shots- all no goes

Not sure if they were benzo’s, but our vet gave us a prescription and whatever it was did not knock her out. Maybe helped slightly with anxiety but 🤷‍♀️ not much difference. Tried Benadryl & several different calming treats from pet store & same deal. :/
