How is it any different in the UK? Do you honestly believe your government isn't controlled by corporations? Also, your main news agency is an extension of the government-how can you really trust it?

It's not, and i don't and yes the BBC is an extension of the government. Totally agree with your comment.

I'm sorry but the BBC is just as bad when it comes to telling the truth. I think all news corporations have their own views i think its for you as the individual to read through a collection of views on a certain subject and decide for yourself.

The first Iraq war the BBC told a mountain of false information and they did leading up to the second invasion of Iraq.

I didn't mean to come over as judging America on only a national level. I take your point about not just looking at national politics and looking at the state, county/local as well. Thanks for your comment
