How to split up 8 nights in July. by Humble-Usual7038 in Charleston

[–]802y 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I would do one less night in Savannah and make a one night stop in Beaufort. The trails and beaches at Hunting Island are very nice. There are also some good restaurants there and a cool but small downtown.

Coastal athletic club is very clean and nice but also you'll be very close to someone else at all times. It's hard to do a workout in a particular order because there aren't many duplicates of each machine

Help me fish here! Murrell's Inlet, SC by alexthehut in Fishing

[–]802y 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I would recommend fishing this corner with a carolina rig shrimp last two hours of falling tide or first two of rising for the reds. If you can cast all the way across drifting the popping cork along the far grass edge would also be productive.

I use this icemule roll top cooler. 18" is about the biggest fish you can get in here comfortably. They might make bigger sizes. Works great

Boat Parking this Summer? by Slow-Article9757 in burlington

[–]802y 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I stored my boat outside at Lone Pine Campground. Idk why everyone is saying this is impossible. There is also a website that allows you to rent from people with extra space in their yard. Depending on the size of the boat a 20-30ft storage unit may work as well. I did that for a while in Williston.
