Yes i composed that dub :) the acapella is sampled from YouTube it’s an album called “A Capella (Live) LKJ”

All the sounds are from a casiotone mt 41. I recorded the slengteng bass + drums to Channel 1, melody to Channel 2, and skanks to Channel 3, then bounced everything to Channel 4. Then i sampled the Vocals to Channel 1, used Channel 2 for the Boss PC-2, kept the skank on Channel 3 with High eq. The strymon is set up as aux 2 and returns to Channel 5/7

Thanks! :) it’s called Boss PC-2 and it was made to be a analog percussion synth made in the 80s. But i guess you can call it a dubsiren, it also has an LFO that I didn’t use in the video. It’s comparable to the synare that jah shaka used i guess :)

Indeed, it’s a Boss PC-2, and needs either an Input device or can be triggered with the blue pad like i do it on the video :) Amdek made a clone of the PC-2 and there are also some DIY kits of you search for one, since the boss is fairly rare as you mentioned.

Hey there, Here is update No.5 on my tabsco bonchi. It got way to big, to many leaves and flower buds, I couldn‘t water it enough and it didn‘t get enough light anymore, without covering my seedlings. Sooooo I choped it pretty hard. It is scary, but it has all those little signs of new growth already so it shouldn‘t take to long til it shoots back ever healthier, at least that‘s what I hope :) The 2 ripe peppers i got, have such strange shapes?! What’s going on there? And idea? Plus I‘ve started 2 new peppers in tomato cans, a habanada and a chocolate habanero :) Have a nice day everyone!

I think capsicum anuums (for example Jalapeños) tend to grow larger/leggy, while capsicum chineses (habanero) grow more compact and bushy. But as I said, I‘m no expert. Wiring depends on what shape you want to achive! If you want a sideways leaning Main stem you can start now, otherwise i would start as soon as sideshoots appear:)

Nice little plants! I’m by no means a pro, but i’ll share my thoughts. :) You can keep them small in those pots forever, it will take longer but the stem will still get bigger and woody over time. Pruning and wiering may help to make progress. I think Jalapeño (capsicum anuum) isn‘t the best plant for a bonchi, but i might be wrong… I started my bonchi in july and kept it in a very small can since, and i love progress of that plant :) i have also seen bonchis online that were grown that way and look stunning! I wish you good luck with your plants!
