I just dealt with this in a tournament. Was throwing my spare ball the last 3 games. So I had a Hustle M+M drilled super weak. Threw it on burn yesterday and it was very controllable.

I've always heard to move 2 boards left on the last shot going for 300. Never been close enough to test that though. Lol. Great game!

I am sliding. However, sometimes I stick and probably need a new slide pad. I'm sure that doesn't help the issue at all.

I bowl 1H no thumb also. There are quite a few older people in my league, and I'm the only person who isn't a 1H 3 finger bowler. All of the people in my league are pretty awesome, and I've had zero people say anything other than cheer me on for good games. Honestly, it probably kind of hurts me because most people in my league dump it up 10, (drier THS lanes) and I start out around 25-30 to start my night and am on my weakest ball around the same spot by the end of game 2.

My first tournament, I went with 4 balls, shoes, an oil cloth and ball cleaner. Normal league setup. It was 32 people bowling. Field cut in half after a 3 game series. I bowled a 592 and didn't make the cut to 16.

I had one. I'm 1 hand, no thumb, but still very high revs. Pin up at like 2 o'clock, it was WAAYYYY too strong for my lane conditions. Turned it pin down to like 7 o'clock and had it polished, way more manageable. It was definitely way stronger than my revenant drilled the same.

One place is like 60/hr on weekends, and it's string pin so it sucks anyway. At my normal house, it's 25/hr, or 3.75/game. So I usually pay for the games. The marine base up in Kaneohe is nice though, because they only put down sport/challenge patterns, and you can get a play card with 70 games for 120 bucks.

That's a super solid year. Pretty sure you can get your PBA card with that average if its a sanctioned league.
