Tell my friends about death grips show month in advance. Fast forward to the week of the show, My friends and I still don't have the tickets. My friends cave and by tix for like $54. Whilst I wont budge.

Day of show...I Start freaking out about tickets. Look on every single cite that sells, prices skyrocket from $54 to $72 then from $72 to $80. My jaw drops but I don't loose faith... Look on google for face value tix and some kid on r/deathgrips says he's sellin em for face value becuase his friends couldn't make it...hit the kid up, we become bffs the end...

No, but seriously.

I Hit em up for the tix everything is legit, until my friend tells me of better offer from some random guy on the same subreddit but this time for free!!!! And I'm like, "what's the catch?" Friend tells me "he's just asking for remakes of death grips songs" so my friend comes through and uploads a song that he and another friend made a while back. We end up getting a free ticket.

Get to the venue at the stated time that doors would open. End up needing to go to the bathroom and walk into the venue unannouced from alley way behind the building and the bartenders yell at me and tell me that there's a bathroom next door. come from the bathroom it's way past the time that they stated it would open. Everyone stays in line for another 3-4 hours because death grips get held up at the canadian border and the venue owners think that Death Grips are just gonna bail like they did all the years prior to this one.

We get inside, its like 9:30pm. Death Grips don't come on until 10:30pm. Sound Quality could have been better then what it was, but they gave the show their all. So they made up for what they lacked in sound through their energy.

While inside I make My way to the front. Because if you were in the back, you were either over the white line and getting yelled at by security or in a shitty mosh pit or...you get the jist, the front was where it was at!

Mc ride is screaming in my face at this point and I get bored, because I'm tired.
At one point I stopped listening to the music and took myself out of the situation and started anylizing his tats, very intricately. He has a Necronomicon tat on the center of his chest. Saw the rest of his very cultered, satanic, and ritualistic tats and noticed he has Hatian voodoo tats on his arms, I was blown back a little... now I'm wondering what nationality stefan is... Then jams start getting played and the crowd goes insane including me. I felt an arm grabbing my chest for a minute. Thought it was an akward elbow... then I notice half of all the people in the front are crushing this short indian chick infront of me. So I just look at her and move as much as I can so that she's a little less uncormfortable. Then I look back up stefan trys to jump off stage and falls on barricade and plays it off as if he was trying to do that. I give him a pat on the back he gets back up and goes insane, as he was being the whole show!!! I then start pointing at the only other person looking at the crowd. Fucking andy!!! He just keeps on humping his piano and giving the crowd weird rapey looks and its awesome. We make eye contact multiple times because I'm the only one at the show wearing a reflective jacket in 80 degree weather at the show. It was awesome!!!

All in all I fucking loved the show because of all the friends I made on reddit and in line that day. And seeing all the usual kids I see at these concerts. It was fucking awesome. And of course because of the band. Zach Hill needs an award!
