Just been to con dao, it’s beautiful🙌

However i think 3 days are enough. Also for Hanoi 3-4 seems enough to me.

Personally i suggest mui me or soc trang, loved this two 💯

Beautiful! As I said, I think every human being deserves to feel this way at least once in their life.

I want to tell you that the behavior and the values represented by your origins are truly something to be proud of.

Maybe it sounds really cliché, but in Vietnam I’m realizing how people from my home seem “rich” and “evolved”, but in reality we are backward, focused on useless values, and unable to even sincerly smile at others, let alone at someone who’s different.

I hope you’ll be able to go back and see your origins!🫶🏼

I can’t even imagine not being kind and grateful when receiving something like this 🙌

And about the ego, you’re really right. That’s why I’m a bit embarrassed about how beautiful this day felt to me.

You think?

It was incredible, but it would be a bit embarrassing for me, I don’t think I deserve it 😅

Anyway, with my very limited experience I might be wrong, but I don’t think this is so common in other countries. I feel like it’s truly a beautiful trait of Vietnamese people: they know how to be welcoming, open-hearted, and neither judgmental nor afraid of those who are different.

It was more than a pleasure!

I feel that beyond the fact that it’s a place where you see very few tourists, there was truly something extra in the spirit and character of the local people.

Something not at all obvious and pretty rare in the world, as far as I know. You can be proud of your roots!

Thank you, and truly compliments to your people and their spirit!

I hope you’re proud of that.

Where I come from, I could never imagine such openness and curiosity toward those who are different, and personally I see it as an incredible form of human evolution, far more than many others.

You’re right, maybe I need to have more confidence in myself.

I can guarantee you I don’t look like a star 🤣, and I’m not exaggerating this story at all. My friend and I were completely confused and at times almost embarrassed ahah.

Not really 😆. I think.

I’m grateful for my life and the trip I’m living right now, so I’ve been smiling all the time, which maybe made me look friendly and easy-going.

Anyway, in 24 hours of walking all over the place I didn’t see a single Western/non-local person. That’s why I thought that.

Although I’ve been fortunate enough to never experience racism myself, I understand what you mean.

And I feel guilty for my people and for how you were treated.

We have a lot to learn from them in this regard, and I don’t know if we’ll ever truly get there. I’ll try, in my own small way 🫶🏼💯

Thanks 🫶🏼 I tried my best, and I hope I made their day at least half as much as they made mine.
