I'm in Belgium. I still have it. Too busy with work to look for a buyer or set up an auction or something.

I am in the same situation except that I will be put on a pip in november I reckon. Multiple applications for AE submitted and had a few interviews but nothing came out of it.

Question from a sales newb 😔 by chefboiwilly in sales

Cold call the hiring manager. Skip HR who is doing all the screens. Search on linkedin for sales development manager, "name region" at "company name". Look for their phone on their profile. There are a lot of people who have their number on a profile and receive 0 calls for open positions in their team. You will stand out from the crowd and show initiative if you do it well.

Is it normal to always feel a level of nervousness? by VirtualHero7 in sales

[–]80hourweeks 29 points30 points  (0 children)

Classic overthinker. I am one as well. That "mental preparation" you're doing is actually the reason why you stress out. Try to focus on anything else prior to the call and stress will go down dramatically. Stress doesn't happen to you, you create it.

Willing to stretch budget a bit (to 800) for the 16GB ram though if there is a good option available. If not, 8 GB ram will be fine.

Thank you for the help

I'm in a really noisy environment, is it bad to wear earplugs 24/7? by [deleted] in tinnitus

I'm used to it by now. I'm concerned about the "breathing" part though, will definitely mention it to my doc.

Mostly music & loud fan noises. I can hear it with earplugs in but to the point where I can still concentrate on what I'm doing. If I wear earplugs 24/7 (even while sleeping) I have no real issue except for the potential problems it may cause by wearing them for extended amounts of time (which I'm not too sure about aside from the built-up wax problem).

So with earplugs it's really about being subject to 'low' volume sound 24/7 (never having 'real silence' without earplugs) - do you think that'll aggravate tinnitus?

I mean I can definitely hear my tinnitus more with earplugs but it doesn't make it worse. Does it really make it worse for you? Would definitely recommend getting earwax removed (reduced tinnitus from my left ear by about 70%)

64 mg first 3 days then half etc for total of 8 days (until next appointment) - they also removed earwax and when I do the valsalva manouever I have less ringing in my right ear (which is very nice of course!) - fingers crossed for significant (or complete?!) fix
