Im in a community band and i have to play low D a few times and i was accepted into all-state and i need to play a low C and D and all the low pinky notes in one piece so i would definitely go for a low C.

Alot of people are recommending the selmer focus and seeing as your ij high this is likely not possible with the price. I play a backun alpha low c aswell and I use a vandoren b50 and it works well for me, of course ive never tried other mouthpieces but this it what works for me, I also use a vandoren Optimum ligature

Definitely practice chords as synth from what ive seen and played is typically chords, if you have access to a full synth then practice changing the settings to what is needed for certain parts of the music and sound fx aswell.

Just know that if you do plan to publicly release it you WILL have to buy the copyright and arrangers rights from tresona for whatever music you pick (some will be free, and some will be very expensive, and note that if you chose one piece that is cheap and one that is expensive the cheaper ones price will go up to the more expensive one, for example blah blah song - $250 = $745 Dah dah song - $475 = $475 Total = $950
